Information We Do Not Collect

TokenSensei is designed with your privacy as a priority. We want to be absolutely clear: we do not collect, store, track, or sell any of your personal data or the content you analyze.

Specifically, TokenSensei DOES NOT:

• Store the text you type, paste, or upload into the input field. All processing happens in your browser or via transient, non-logged API calls for specific model estimations if ever implemented (currently, estimation is client-side).
• Collect any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or IP address for the purpose of user identification or tracking. Standard server logs may exist but are not used to profile users.
• Track your activity across other websites.
• Sell or share any of your input data or personal information with third parties, except as explicitly stated for the functioning of essential third-party services like advertising (see below).

The core functionality of counting tokens and estimating costs is designed to be performed without retaining your data on our servers.

Cookies and Local Storage

TokenSensei uses browser local storage to remember your preferences, such as your selected language and theme (light/dark mode). This information is stored directly in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. This helps enhance your user experience on subsequent visits.

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes beyond what may be employed by essential third-party services like Google AdSense, as described below.

Third-Party Services (Advertising)

TokenSensei displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense to help keep the service free and accessible to all users. Google AdSense may use cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements. TokenSensei is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps.
